Can you eat with at the Strasserwirt?
Yes of course you can dine at our restaurant „The Ortner´s at Strasserwirt“. We can reserve a table for you. Please visit the homepage www.strasserwirt.net, there you can have a look at the menue to get a foretaste.
Are sheets and towels provided?
Yes, of course there are bed linen and towels in our apartment. We do not have a daily cleaning service, only a final cleaning. On request we can do a cleaning for an extra charge of € 25,–/day. Towels can be changed on request for up to 4 nights.
Can we borrow bicycles from you?
Yes, you are welcome to hire our Ciy bikes free of charge from May to October. Since spring 2024 you can also use our e-bikes for a daily fee of € 38,- or ½ day fee of € 28,-. Please book them in advance.
Can we wash an iron our laundry at your place?
Yes you have the possiblity to use our washing and drying machine in the afternoon or evening. The cost are € 6,–/machine including washing powder. The laundry is situated in the main house, in the second floor. You can also lend a iron and a iron board without paying a fee. Please contact us in time, thank you very much!
Do you have a safe?
The apartment „Suite Deluxe“ have a safe. We are sorry but the other types of apartments are not equipped with a safe.
Do you have an elevator?
No, unfortunately we do not have a lift in the Sauerweingut and Strasserwirt. The Suite Deluxe flat is barrier-free and wheelchair accessible.
Can we smoke in the apartments?
Our apartment house is non-smoking. However, you can smoke on our balconies or terraces. You can also smoke in front of the house. Please use our ashtrays, thank you!
Can we bring our dog with us?
We have two apartments (Studio and Studio Plus) where well-behaved dogs up to 20kg are welcome on request. The cleaning fee is € 35,– for the whole stay. Please do not leave your dog unattended in the apartment. You will be charged for any damage caused.
How do we reach the city center?
There is a nice walk over the Rainberg to the city centre. It takes about 15 minutes. You can also take bus n.22 from Gorianstreet to Hanuschplatz. From May to October there is a direct bus service (no. 23) to the city centre (Hanuschplatz).
What can I find in this district?
The Sauerweingut is located in the district of Leopoldskron, from where you can reach Leopoldskron Castle or the Leopoldskroner Weiher pond in 5 minutes. A small zoo is also just a 5-minute walk away. We are also happy to provide you with a tour guide with all the important information for FREE download.
What includes the baby package?
A babycot, a high chair, a bath tube with a non slip mat and some toys.
Where ist the entrance for the Strasserwirt?
There is a small staircase to the left of the entrance to the restaurant. Follow the signs to the apartments.
Do you have enough parking spaces?
Yes, we have a parking space for each apartment. If you need more parking spaces, you can park opposite the Leopoldskron swimming pool „Freibad“. You will receive a discount ticket from us.
